XL Film Festival: Script & Pitch Competition Finalist | 2023

I was nominated as a finalist to present and pitch a new series concept

I developed to a crowd of industry professionals such as:

Robert Townsend, the staff of HBO Max's South Side, and

representatives of Jordan Peele's Monkey Paw Productions.

Spectrum Award Winner "Best Commercial" | 2022

Awarded for "Best Commercial" production through my work as a

Commercial Producer at Channel 8's WISH-TV.

4SCENE Film Festival | 2020

Created a film festival to connect and network

with other filmmakers in my area.

Tyler Perry's "Sistas" | 2019

Documented the premiere event for Tyler Perry's BET hit show, "Sistas".

The main cast and I spent the weekend in Chicago, and I documented their experience.

I also created several pieces of promotional material with the cast.

Research & Script Analysis for Justin Simien's "Dear White People" | 2016

IConducted pre-production research for Justin Simien, creator of "Dear White People",

and his production studio. I also analyzed potential scripts from some very

well-known industry writers and producers for his company.

Black-ish | 2015

Worked on the set of Black-ish, and developed a pilot

for a separate series with the creators of the show.
